humble chaos

medical transporter this morning was amazing. looks like a Vinny Raffa Jr though lol. he had dope music blasting when he picked me up — Smoking Popes, “Days Just Wave Goodbye” — which is already a pretty strong way to start the day before TMS.
i’m on my way to my TMS session now, then i’ve got freeCodeCamp(fCC)’s Absolute and Relative Units Quiz, and then onto Pseudo Classes and Elements next. probably going to take a pause after the Design A Greeting Card Workshop, because i’ve already been moving pretty well and there’s no need to pretend my brain is some kind of infinite content generator that never needs a break.

i’m really happy with my momentum learning Web Dev. it’s starting to feel more like passive learning now, which is kind of a wild and very welcome shift. not effortless exactly, but less like dragging a heavy couch up a staircase and more like finally realizing the couch has wheels. i’m feeling excited and hopeful for whatever may come next, which is a nice place to be and not one i take lightly.

there’s something good happening in the background here too. i’m not just checking boxes anymore. i’m actually getting used to the rhythm of it. and that feels different. better. steadier. like i’m building something that can keep moving even when i’m not trying to force it every second.

today feels like one of those humble chaos days in the best way. a little goofy, a little scattered, a little funny, but still pointed in the right direction. TMS, good music, solid momentum, a quiz, a workshop, a pause, then more progress later. nothing flashy. just real movement. and right now that feels pretty damn good.
