studying web dev while my 24/7 twitch stream slowly eats my wallet and soul; send halp

today felt like one of those weird “this actually counts” days, even though my brain tried to write it off half a dozen times.
i woke up under-slept, dragged myself into the day, and only really turned the lights on after a two‑hour power nap. after that, energy finally came up instead of hovering at “half‑dead.” no pain, no weird sensory overload, just that usual wobble between wiped and wired.
the main thing on the board today was web.dev/learn/css/flexbox and getting my flexbox tutor script nailed down. i actually did it. i went through the flexbox module, turned it into a mini tutor script for ChatGPT, and then kept the momentum going with the first Mimo intermediate CSS module. flexbox, box model, selectors — all of that got at least one pass today instead of living on a sticky note.
i didn’t stop at one block, either. project‑wise, i got the box model Codex tutor script started, began messing with Coddy for CSS, and even set up my new mechanical keyboard. the red planner book is filling up again, which usually means i’m at least halfway serious about where the hell my time is going.
the best win today was simple: i actually set up my Coddy account and got started instead of just saying “yeah i’ll do that eventually.” it’s tiny, but tiny ships beat fake big plans. the drag worth remembering was how long i spent messing with ChatGPT mini tutor scripts — necessary, but annoying. classic guerz move: build the tools instead of just using them, and then complain about how long the tools take.
energy was up and down all day. three separate power naps says more than any fancy tracker could. but between all that, i still moved: flexbox, box model, selectors, planner, keyboard, Coddy, Mimo. for once, “what i actually did today” doesn’t feel like a black hole.

tomorrow should start with tightening up the ChatGPT mini tutor script for selectors. that’s the obvious next piece in this css rebuild, and i don’t want to keep delaying it. it’s small, it’s doable, and it slots right into the tutor‑script system we’ve been building.

meanwhile, the 24/7 study music stream is still running over at https://twitch.tv/guerz. it’s been my background noise, my study buddy, and honestly one of the only reasons my days feel less empty. but keeping that stream alive isn’t free, and i’m getting close to the point where “i don’t know how long i can afford to keep this going” stops being a dramatic sentence and starts being real.
so yeah, i’m desperate for support. if you’ve been lurking, vibing, or using the stream as your own late‑night study soundtrack, i could seriously use help to keep it online — donations, subs, whatever you can swing. if the stream dies, it’s not just “oh well, another channel gone,” it’s one more anchor ripped out of this messy routine.
if you have music suggestions or recommendations, drop them in the comments on this post, and if you ever swing by the stream, remind me what you suggested — i’ll play them for you on air. i’m also thinking about adding a simple song request setup: $1 per song, $3 for five songs, and $8 for a full album. cheap, direct, and it keeps the lights on while you get to bend the playlist to your will.
today was flexbox, box model, selectors, Coddy, Mimo, planners, and keyboards. tomorrow is selectors and more css. in between all of that, the stream keeps humming, and i’m trying to keep myself above water long enough to see this whole roadmap through. if you’ve got a track you love, a band you think i should hear, or a playlist that saved your life once, drop it in the comments or bring it into chat. i’ll spin it for you, as long as i can keep this thing running.
