sooo a few updates
full sail
school’s first class moves into Week 4 Formal Communication. we have to construct an Award Winning Speech for the assignment.
i don’t mind all that much about being recorded speaking as much as i do get a bit choked up when it comes to prepared speeches. so the delivery aspect of the grading is a the only worry i have.
Week 3 wrapped up very nicely.
i got the main assignment submitted before the both the accommodating deadline and the actual deadline. plus, i felt super confident about it.
the assignment for 3.4 was a 5-slide presentation recorded in OBS and was an informal communication speech of one of My Favorite Things – Twitch DJ Streaming.
the only thing that was kinda a pain in the ass the was having to speak a prepared speech for an uninterrupted 2-3 minutes straight, but i finally nailed it with one of the takes clocking it at around ~2min18sec.
freeCodeCamp
with freeCodeCamp my whole re-learn path i’m on, i’ve started and completed both the Colors workshop and the lab.
next up is fCC – Styling Forms of which i begun the first 61-step workshop. gonna try and bang out most of it, if not all of it, this afternoon and tonight. this is an area i truly gotta pay attention cuz a lot of the attributes and values confuse tf outta my mind.
guerz.lol
with the homepage, i’m gonna do my best to update it weekly every Sunday/Monday, because every Sunday is the end of a school week and every Monday is the start of a school week. so i figured by that time of week, i already have enough info to scaffold the site in prep for the week to come.
i also am going to add a new page, Updates, that will be the home to the weekly update blogguerz posts akin to the one you’re currently reading.
and for the every post, i’ll just include a snapshot of an update, defaulting to the updated header indicating the what week number is currently running.
the About page got reshuffled so Jeffran sits under the {Guerz} card.
the Turntable Line: got a couple of updates:
- a sticky header on the Batch Tally
- a new Sleeve option: Generic
today for my Study & Chill stream, i think i’ll spend some time uploading some records to eBay since PayPal permanently deactivated my account of ~$1000, le sigh…
everything else
aside from all those vanilla updates, still battling eviction, trying to figure out living situations.
what’s next
sooo yeah, to put a bell on it, i’m just eager to learn more, and cannot wait to see what lies ahead on the road(s).
